Unfortunately The Inn On The Park at Deanlands which has been our home for 5 years is closing on 30th August for an unknown period of time. We understand this is for refurbishment but we do not know what the future plans are as the current managers Debbie and Paul are leaving.

Therefore it is with great sadness to advise that our last club meeting at Deanlands will be 22 August 2022. As you can appreciate this has come as a great shock to the team and our heads are spinning to try and find a way to keep the club going. We have a fantastic membership of performers and audience and really do not want to lose this community.

If any of you have any suggestions of alternative venues please let me know – perhaps some of you are members of sports/social clubs that may be suitable?

Please rest assured we will try our hardest to keep our White Horse family together and we would value your continued support.

The White Horse Inn Folk Club has hosted folk nights every other Monday since 1993. The club is now held in The Inn on The Park at Deanland Wood Park which creates a unique and intimate atmosphere. We welcome all musicians, the very young and the very old, the very amateur and the very professional. We try and book a guest once every two months. On guest nights, naturally, there is less time for the floor spots.

The word folk in our name may be slightly misleading. We attract both traditional and contemporary folk singers and players, blues singers, blue grass bands jug bands and country singers.

In fact, all folks are welcome.
